What you’ll do as an IT Desktop Engineer:
- Manage the approval, deployment, auditing, and reporting of workstation patching processes using SolarWinds Patch Manager and WSUS.
- Manage the deployment, auditing, and reporting of anti-malware software installations, updates, and functionalities, working closely with Security Operations to resolve issues as needed.
- Create and deliver customized reports from Lansweeper on hardware/software compliance, unauthorized software installations, environmental anomalies, etc.
- Manage all aspects of Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance within the Desktop Support OU structure, including, but not limited to, ensuring standardization compliance, naming convention/organizational compliance, Group Policy inheritance, enforcement and structural compliance, AD/GPO cleanup, etc.
- Assist with all reporting and audit requirements (GESP, PCI, clients).
- Manage all aspects of compliance with TP’s policies, including collecting required evidence, tracking compliance by Site, and working with corporate security on uploads.
This is what you need to be a part of the TOP Team:
- High school diploma.
- 5 CSEC subjects grade 1 to 3, including English.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a computer-related field is preferred, or equivalent computer certifications.
- Knowledge of A+, Network+, MCSA, and MCSE.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
